My current research is within the field of compiler optimizations. That is, my primary focus is on improving the run time (in addition to potentially improving other factors such as code size) of code at the assembly level, specifically targeting the MIPS ISA. On my spare time, I enjoy reading and tinkering with WebAssembly, asm.js and Emscripten — they are really cool projects which merit further research!
Additionally, I have worked on research related to digital signal processing -- specifically developing an algorithm to efficiently identify active RFID tags with a low false positive rate with hopes of reliably tracking user movement. More information is available upon request.
